Doreen
was a spinster. Her two joys in life were smoking her pipe and
listening to neighbors conversations. Rumor has it that she
and General Grant shared a pipe from time to time. Her other
passion was chewing tobacco; she hid it in her bonnet. It's
said that the flowers in her bonnet were in fact budding
tobacco plants!
Darleen
had many admirers, she could even get a horse to whinny when
she walked by. Darleen played a mean game of cards, and with
her low cut dress, she’d get the men to lean over so she could
peek at their cards.
Colleen
was the most respected of all the sisters. She was known for
being an upstanding citizen and always ready to fight for the
cause. Colleen had one secret too; her true love was a still,
which she discreetly disguised in the nursery. She would
smuggle her Elixir to the Union troops to ready them for
battle.
Gordon,
Maureen, and Nicole, carry on the fine hospitality of their
ancestors by running the family inn. Gordon can chat for hours
on family history (thus putting you in a deep sleep), Maureen
will help you with tourist sites, shopping and in house
massages, while Nicole believes in the old adage that it is
better not to be seen or heard.
P.S. The
family history is subject to interpretation.
